Mater Comprehensive Care Clinic (MCCC) opened its doors in 2006 in response to the overwhelming burden of the HIV epidemic to provide accessible HIV Care and Treatment services to the underprivileged people from the regions adjacent to the Mater Misericordiae Hospital. The clinic started from a very small seed of 200 clients and has now grown substansively into a big tree with more than 3600 clients enrolled as at June 2018.
We are adequately staffed with a diverse team comprising of: a Project Manager, a Project Doctor, Registered Clinical Officers , both Clinical and Community Nurses, Pharmaceutical Technologists, a Nutritionist, Counselors, Social Workers, Data officers, Customer Care Representatives, a Project Accountant, a Procurement Officer and Peer Mentors including a Mentor Mother.
The Mater Comprehensive Care Clinic is open between 7am and 4:30pm from Monday to Friday. We also provide free HIV testing services on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 4pm.

Mater Comprehensive Care Clinic has a strong community network comprising of 25 Adult Community Health Volunteers, 7 Youth Champions and a Mentor Mother. Our volunteers act as community watchdogs and are at the frontline providing health services in the community. The longstanding community relationships they have fostered enable them to serve as a link between the local community and the Mater Comprehensive Care Clinic.
